Ancient Discourse

Welcome to Ancient Discourse

In Ancient Discourse we attempt to discuss various archaeological issues in an open forum. Anyone with a view on the issue is welcome to enter the debate and have a say. Our house writers will construct a brief statement outlining their views, and then the floor is opened up to debate on our forum, which will eventually result in “the digest”: a conclusive statement including key contributions and the general consensus. This mission: to invite anyone with an archaeological interest to contribute to these discussions, will only work if there are submissions, so we invite everyone with a love of the subject to read what we have to say and think about it. Add what you think, and say where you think we are wrong. Mention what you agree with, or pose a completely new approach in a few lines or even an article the same length as our writers. Anything within the boundaries of taste and relevance is encouraged. So join the debate and get to grips with archaeological discussion.
